The Department of Sociology and Anthropology, UPEI, is seeking a Teaching Assistant for its on-line Work & Society course (Soc292).

The Teaching Assistant will:
• lead and facilitate on-line tutorial sessions;
• clarify key concepts for students; and
• develop tutorial questions and exam questions.
The student must be a 4th year sociology or sociology/anthropology major with excellent grades in soc101, soc102, and soc292. He/she must possess strong organizational and leadership skills and excellent written communication skills. The student must be mature, enthusiastic, and able to exercise sound judgement.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
