$17.22 per hour (vacation pay included)

The Institute of Island Studies is looking to hire a student assistant to compile and develop an email communication list from all of those individuals who have expressed support for the activities of the Institute. The intent is to form a ‘Friends of the Institute of Island Studies’ group.


• Searching for email addresses on the internet and other sources based on existing lists, including one with 600+ names;
• Checking the accuracy of these email addresses;
• Organizing these addresses in suitable contact and group lists for ease of communication;


• An Island Studies graduate student with strong organizational, communication and research skills
• Ability to work independently
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment, Policies and Procedures Manual.
