The UPEI Department of Advancement is a team of 12 staff responsible for a wide range of functions including raising more than $5 million per annum in support of student success through major gifts, awards and scholarships, endowment funds, capital campaigns, UPEI Annual Fund campaign, and other appeals. The department is also responsible for alumni relations; maintaining a constituent database of alumni, friends and donors; prospect research; planned giving; donor relations; and donor recognition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department is seeking a skilled individual to lead the gifts and revenues program in direct support of athletics and recreation.
This is an ideal role for a proactive self-starter, exceptional communicator, skilled writer, and organized project manager who has experience and demonstrated success in working with people in a donor-centered manner. Within our team-oriented environment, you will work with the Associate Director Development and Director of Athletics and Recreation, along with volunteers and coaches, in fostering the growth of the athletics and recreation gifts and revenues program by managing campaigns and relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers of Panther sport.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Interested candidates should have a university degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; strong awareness of sport and recreation; and previous experience in fundraising. Strong affiliation with alumni activities will be considered an asset.
