The Faculty of Business invites applications for a 10 month term position in accounting. This position is subject to budgetary approval. 

The preferred candidate for this appointment in accounting must have a professional accounting designation. Candidates should be able to teach at all levels in accounting.  Candidates will be expected to support a growing undergraduate emphasis in accounting, and demonstrate capability to teach at graduate levels in accounting.  A record of excellence in teaching and research appropriate to career stage, or a demonstration of clear promise is required. The successful candidate will be a member of the faculty team and be expected to balance service contributions with scholarly productivity and teaching excellence, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The UPEI Faculty of Business has emphasized evidence-based management and enjoyed considerable student case competition success in recent years. Candidates who are able to contribute in those areas are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates with both strong academic qualifications and professional experience in an applied setting. The Faculty of Business also offers both a Specialization and Certificate in Accounting.
