The Faculty of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The position will be filled as soon as possible not later than July 1, 2019, subject to budgetary approval.

The preferred candidate for this appointment in Finance will hold a PhD, or be close to completion, in Finance or a related area. A record of excellence in teaching and research appropriate to career stage, or a demonstration of clear promise is required. The successful candidate will be a member of the faculty team and be expected to balance service contributions with scholarly productivity and teaching excellence, at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The UPEI Faculty of Business has emphasized evidence-based management and enjoyed considerable student case competition success in recent years. Candidates who are able to contribute in those areas are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates with both strong academic qualifications and professional experience in an applied setting. The Faculty of Business offers a Specialization in Finance with courses taught in the areas of International and Entrepreneurial Finance.
