The International Relations Office is seeking applications for the position of Student Assistant.  This position will focus on providing support to all areas of the International Relations Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The student will be responsible for:
• Helping to maintain and build the International Relations Office website and social media outlets
• Helping to coordinate incoming international visits
• Assisting with research on current and future projects
• Assisting in the creation of marketing material
•  Assisting in maintaining filing systems and databases
• Coordinating small meetings and events
• Taking meeting minutes
• Answering phones and responding to correspondence
• Sending information packages, etc. by courier
• Leading campus tours
• Performing other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The successful candidate will ideally be in second year and will be familiar with working in a post-secondary educational environment.
• This position requires strong computer, organizational, and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
• S/he will also be able to work in both a team environment and independently.
• The successful candidate must be friendly, responsible, and comfortable conducting campus tours and leading delegations from location to location during visits.
