IT Systems & Services is looking for a Project Coordinator to complement its campus wide, service oriented department. In conjunction with activities associated with our current transformational project, the Project Coordinator will assist the current Project Manager with project activities as well as work collaboratively with the campus to organize, monitor, and deliver small to mid-size projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize meetings, develop agendas, and record minutes at meetings,
• Create project schedules
• Create task lists for team members and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Monitor project progress and budget
• Perform monthly budget reconciliation and update budget forecasts
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
• Drive project execution: track project activities to ensure delivery, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree or college diploma in the field of Business Administration, Project management or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience with implementing an ERP system (specifically Ellucian’s Colleague Student Information System) within a post secondary institution would be considered an asset
• Certification from a recognized project management institution (i.e. PMP certification) would be considered an asset
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project
• Competent and proficient understanding of platforms, such as Ellucian’s Colleague
• Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
• Demonstrated experience in personnel management
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Google Docs or MS Office
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently while maintaining a level of flexibility and positivity
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
• Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable customer service focus is a requirement
