The Math Help Centre is seeking three (3) student assistants for the UPEI Math Help Centre. The successful candidates will report to the Facilitator of the Math Help Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Student tutors are required to provide assistance to students in any 1st and 2nd year Mathematics and Statistics courses.
• The Math Help Centre operates Monday to Thursday 12:30-5:30 p.m., and Sunday 1:30-5:30 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preference will be given to third or fourth-year Math majors who possess the knowledge of the topics covered in UPEI's 1st and 2nd year Mathematics and Statistics courses.
• Extremely exceptional second year mathematics majors are also encouraged to apply. Experience in tutoring mathematics, working with students, and use of technology (eg., Maple ®) are desirable assets.

Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
