8-12 hours per week (variable) to a maximum of 200.

Salary: 
$20.59 per hour (vacation pay included), as per CUPE 1870

As soon as possible to April 2016 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)

The University of Prince Edward Island is looking to fill a part-time term position of ADS Level 4 –Accreditation Assistant in the Applied Human Sciences Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Department Chair and Coordinator of Professional Practice to complete self-study reports for accreditation review
• Assist with mapping of curriculum and practicum to ICDEP
• Assist with the collection of assessment data needed for quality improvement
• Compile placement organizational and professional data
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful completion of an Office Studies Program with related experience or a combination of education and experience
• Experience using the practice competencies, performance indicators and foundational knowledge specifications for dietetic education
• Demonstrated organizational abilities, initiative, attention to detail, and flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and actively problem-solve
• Experience using advanced word processing, electronic information systems and databases, spreadsheet and presentation applications
