The Psychology Department seeks applications for positions as lab leaders for the various Psychology 278 and 279 lab sections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attending training sessions and participating in Lab Leaders forum on Moodle.
• Teaching lab sessions to groups of approximately 10 students.
• With the aid of a marking template, provision of feedback, and assignment of preliminary grade recommendations.
• Ongoing communication with instructor, and/or Cheryl Wartman.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants normally will be third or fourth year psychology majors who excelled in 278 and 279.
• Training required for this position (contact cwartman@upei.ca directly if you wish to be trained this year).
• Strong presentation skills are required.
• Reliability and dependability are a must.
