 GRANT FUNDED - STUDENT POSITON
A Research Lab Student Coordinator is needed for Dr. Kate Tilleczek’s CFI-funded Qualitative Research Lab. This position is open to UPEI graduate students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set-up/install equipment and software in the lab
• Organize software training
• Maintenance of lab hardware and software
• Manage equipment borrowing protocols
• Administer the lab’s website
• Create visual aids for the lab,
• Coordinate e-conferences with research teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in social science or related discipline
• Experience in and understanding of qualitative research
• Strong interest in computers and technology
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to quickly learn and master various computer programs
Asset Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Wordpress, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with qualitative research software such as Nvivo
Preference will be given to graduate students in the Faculty of Education or the Faculty of Arts. Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures Manual.
