37.5 hours per week (schedule will involve evenings and weekends)

Salary: 
$39,424 to $43,359, pro-rated to term, as per CUPE 1870
Term: 

As soon as possible until April 30, 2015 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide guidance and support for all sales duties handled through Panther Central
• Assist in the process of managing, planning, implementing and evaluating  ticket prices, packages, renewals and new business sales
• Analyze and plan for event needs regarding staff, equipment, supplies and services
• Schedule Panther Central student assistants
• Handle cash closing and bank deposits for all monies received through Panther Central
• Maintain customer services databases
• Provide on-going feedback and recommendations to enhance customer service practices
• Investigate  all customer services inquiries
• Ensure all strategic updates take place in a timely manner within the system
• Assist in maintaining updated website information related to Departmental offerings
• Communicate and act as in-house trainer to all ticketing volunteers/staff
• Assist in ensuring compliance from volunteers/staff regarding policies/procedures
• Provide direction and assistance to individuals and user groups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post secondary diploma or certificate in a marketing or business program from a recognized educational facility, or equivalent qualifications
• Relevant experience in a related field
• Previous experience working with ticketing operations considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing)
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong computer skills, e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, electronic scheduling, presentations, web pages, etc.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Applicants must be willing to become certified in basic  CPR and First Aid
