Student Assistant - Climate Change In Culture Conference
Hours of Work: 

8-10 hours per week

$11.11 per hour (vacation pay included)

February 2015 – June 15, 2015

The Faculty of Arts seeks applications for the position of research assistant to help with research and administrative tasks related to the upcoming Climate Change in Culture conference to be hosted by UPEI. The conference takes place May 28-31, 2015 and tasks will arise regularly from now until after its conclusion. The work hours will vary but will average approximately 8-10 hours per week.

• Communicate with conference participants
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors
• Basic design work on program and promotional materials
• Organize and assemble conference packages

• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Previously taken courses in sensation and perception
• Basic layout and design skills.

Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
