$10.74 per hour (vacation pay included)

 The EAP program is seeking student assistants to carry out email and Skype communications with potential UPEI international students to provide basic information about living and studying in PEI. Students will be provided with information and training for this pilot project by the International Relations Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• initial contact with applicants via email
• respond to inquiries from applicants via email or Skype
• provide accurate information about living in PEI (i.e. finding housing, weather conditions, getting settled) and studying at UPEI (facilities/services available, campus atmosphere, etc.)
• participate in a two to three hour training session

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3rd or 4th year international student
• bilingual (English/Putonguah)
• ability to work independently, ability to make sound judgments, strong organizational and communication skills

Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual
