7 hours per week

$ 22.00 per hour

March 2013 to April 2013 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)

 Reporting to the Director of Student Affairs the coordinator will assist with developing a NSO leadership development training (non-credit) certificate program.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Student Affairs and the staff of the AFirst Year Connections office@ (Dept. of Student Affairs) to develop and lead NSO workshops for students
- Design assessment tool for evaluating the leadership development program
- Develop materials both print and web based regarding NSO leadership development program
- Promote and market NSO leadership development opportunities to students
- Design a modified version of a CCR (co-curricular record), using e-portfolios as part of the NSO training program

A Masters degree (or near completion) in Education.; Experience in program design and delivery; Experience working in a post-secondary environment; Ability to interact effectively with University Students and Student Affairs Staff; Deep understanding of student development and leadership theory and practice; Experience with the design and delivery of e-portfolio.
