3 hours a week

$13.76 per hour (vacation pay included)

A maximum of 8 intermittent Friday afternoons during the Spring 2016 Semester (maximum 24h) between 13.30h and 16.30h

The Department of Computer Science wishes to hire a student assistant in the lab component of Computer Science 161 (Digital Systems).


• Assist lab instructor in Computer Science Labs CS161


• Superior marks in CS151, CS152 and CS241 (the previous course identification for CS161), ideally a minimum of 80% in each; status as a Dean’s List student is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills are a must
• Familiarity with the Quartus II / Altera DE-1 environment is expected from previous course experience
• Genuine interest in the fundamental structures of computers, and a desire to assist other students in improving their skills and understanding of the same
