A research assistant is needed to help collect and analyze information on the research topic entitled, School Leadership: The Rural Principal. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Jane P. Preston in the Faculty of Education and will have the following responsibilities and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performing library and Internet searches
• Analyzing and coding research information
• Assisting in the writing of a literature review
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with library searches and the collection of data for literature reviews
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong writing abilities
• Ability to work independently and perform tasks on short notice
• Familiarity with concepts pertaining to rural education (including Kindergarten to Grade 12 school environments) and school leadership issues
• Kindergarten to Grade 12 teaching and/or administration would be an assert
