Term Full-Time
$24,640.00 annually, pro-rated to term (includes vacation pay)

May 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)

 The Department of Health Management at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island is seeking a 2013 DVM graduate to serve as a house officer in the Large Animal Medicine and Surgery sections for approximately 8 weeks.
The successful candidate will have primary case responsibility for large animal medicine and surgery cases during the day and will be expected to assist other house officers on call with large animal emergencies on evenings and weekends. During the day the candidate will work closely with the large animal technicians and large animal clinicians on duty.
Qualified candidate must hold a DVM or comparable degree from a AVMA/CVMA accredited college and they must be eligible for temporary licensure with PEIVMA. Details on eligibility can be found at (
