The First Year Experience Program at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for two (2) half-time Sessional Lecture positions for the 2016 Winter academic semester. We are seeking two half-time instructors to teach the following course. These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

UPEI 102: Inquiry Studies
This course is for students who want to explore a broad array of issues and ‘big’ questions that are related to human culture and the natural world from a local to a global perspective. This course emphasizes and cultivates critical inquiry, writing and reading skills through an analysis of texts/topics of contemporary significance.

One and a half hours a week

Successful applicants will have a Master’s degree in Education or Teaching, experience teaching/facilitating inquiry skills at a first year undergraduate level, experience in a multidisciplinary team teaching setting and excellent communication skills.

Please note that applicants on the UPEI sessional roster for Psychology will be considered first.
