The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a part-time term Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in community and public health nursing settings, including hospital and community settings across the Province. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience and expertise in community and public health nursing required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset. Expertise in primary health care nursing theory and practice, population health, community health and public health nursing theory and practice is required.

Term:    August 25, 2019 to December 31, 2020

Fall:       NURS 4010 - Nursing and Population Health
              3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
              (22.5 hours per week)

Winter:   NURS 3130 - Developing Partnerships with Clients in the Community
              3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
              (22.5 hours per week)
