Located on the UPEI campus, the PEI Food Technology Centre is registered as an ISO 9001 facility that includes an instrumentation laboratory, microbiological and chemical laboratories and a product development laboratory.  There was an addition to the building in 2003/04.

The PEI Food Technology Centre is a technology transfer and development facility established to provide technical service support, primarily to the agri-food and seafood processing sectors of Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada.
