The Atlantic Veterinary College was built in 1985 to house Canada’s fourth Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The facility has state-of-the-art equipment and veterinary teaching programs, as well as a large and small animal teaching hospital. The AVC began an extensive expansion in 2006 and continues today.
