Conference Coordinator
The student will plan and execute the annual Health Promotion Conference to be held in October, 2019, in Charlottetown.  The student will report to the Manager of Health Promotion but will be guided by the Health Promotion Team for day to day activities.
 
Overall duties include finding a suitable venue to host 200 delegates; planning and designing the conference program; leading communications, including initiating meetings, designing and distributing pre-conference materials, and developing web content; coordinating registration; planning and organizing all activities required for planning and execution of the conference.
 
The position is located in Charlottetown, downtown, at the PEI Gov't complex. 
 
The position is full time, 37.5 hours/week for July/August and then up to 15 hours/week for September and October.  Scheduling is flexible in the fall.
 
Rate of pay is $14.24/hr (includes vacation pay)

Camp Triumph: Volunteer Camp Counsellor
Each week, we bring in 10-14 volunteers who serve as camp counsellors for the campers. These volunteers spend the week onsite having fun with the kids and giving them the best experience possible, responsibilities include:
• Help to lead activities
• Build relationships with the campers
• Supervise and look after the needs of the campers as a part of the team of staff.
• (Note: Experience with kids is an asset)
You can volunteer for one, two, three, or four of the following week-long sessions.

Energy Coordinator

The Energy Coordinator is responsible for furthering the implementation of the City‟s Community Energy Plan as directed by Mayor and Council and as led by the Manager of Environment and Sustainability. The incumbent will work to reduce corporate energy demand and shift to renewable energy sources by identifying, recommending and implementing both technical and behavioral responses. Our programs are aimed to enhance the professional experience of the students. Programs we offer are customized, considering the convenience and feasibility for the students, which has served more than 900 students internationally. Students from different faculty and nation have enjoyed the program. 

Students applying for the internships will be placed in a homestay with a host family in Kathmandu, which will allow them to experience the authentic culture of Nepal. Quite surprisingly, our programs are at a very affordable rate.
