Tuesday, September 10, 2019 is the first day of "Just Check In" for Consent, a collaboration between the UPEI Student Union and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SV-PRO).  

10:00 am-1:00 pm: Start your day with a Kick-Off Fair in the Concourse of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre with tables from on-campus and off-campus resources.

12:00-12:30 pm: Check out our keynote speaker Dr. Amanda Brazil in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, for an interesting talk aimed to de-stigmatize trauma and empower resilience!   

1:00-2:00 pm: Join our own counsellors from Student Affairs and the counsellors from the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre for cookies and a "meet and greet" we like to call "Cookies and Counsellors," in the concourse of W.A. Murphy Student Centre

2:00-3:00 pm: Join Dr. Wendy Shilton, Associate Professor of English, in the Zen Zone at the Student Centre to take a break from the busy student life and learn how about ways of journal writing and the benefits. All supplies provided! 

2:00-3:00 pm: Do you ever compare yourself to others or have trouble figuring out what you want when it comes to sex and dating? Join Eileen from SV-PRO and Ellen from Student Affairs for an informal workshop on the common dating myths and misconceptions in a university setting.
