The "World Class" Centre for Veterinary Epidemiological Research was featured in the Guardian newspaper on Saturday, January 30, 2010.

The article sites the successful year that CVER partners and grad students have realized in 2009.

A quote taken from the article made by Dr. Don Reynolds, Dean of AVC, reads: “The considerable expertise and research strengths of our Centre for Veterinary Epidemiological Research enables the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI to contribute to societal health in a truly global nature. As Atlantic Canadians, we should be proud that the world’s best are a part of our community and are so deeply committed to making a difference. It is quite remarkable to have a centre of this calibre, a world leader, in our own backyard.’’

2nd Edition of Veterinary Epidemiologic Research Launched

Congratulations extended to Drs Ian Dohoo, Wayne Martin & Henrik Stryhn on the launch of their 2nd Textbook.

The 2nd Edition of Veterinary Epidemiologic Research was officially launched on Jan 21st, 2010 with a presentation of a copy to Wade MacLauchlan, President of UPEI by the three authors (Drs Ian Dohoo, Wayne Martin and Henrik Stryhn) and the Editor (Margaret McPike).
