A view of the front of Cass Science Hall. This is the original building portion, and you can see details in the architeture that remind us of the buildings origins within St. Dunstan's University, a Catholic facility.

In comparison, the back side of the Hall shows the new "base of the T" (when viewed from above), a new portion added to the building in the 1996 renovations. This section houses additional offices and classrooms, the student lounge and student societies' office, as well as the elevator and one of the two internal stairwells. This entrance is fully wheelchair accessible.

This entrance received some upgrading in the renovations to make it safer and more accessible, but the essence ofthe original building's architecture is preserved. This entrance opens onto the Quadrangle of the original University, and faces Main Building, the original campus building.

A close-up view of the orignal 1855 St. Dunstan's University crest (Collegium Sancti Dunstani in Latin, along with the motto Ex Eodem Fonte Fides et Scientia, or "from the same font come faith and science".) It serves as perhaps the most poigniant reminder of the institution which has evolved into the University of Prince Edward Island.
