Eclipse Our Way
[NEW: SLIDES ATTACHED!]
Michael M. Berger, CSIT Major
H. Gordon Noye, CSIT Faculty
Come to an interesting and informative talk on Eclipse, an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), its features and tools which enhance the ability of upper-level students to create solid code quickly and easily.
It should be noted that, although this IDE is an excellent tool, it should never be used by beginning students as a substitute for learning the fundamentals of programming - for that purposes, a simpler IDE like JCreator is recommended.
FRIDAY, 15-JAN-2010 at 1pm (1300h) in Cass-309 (Gaming and Graphics Lab)
Students studying at the second year or higher level, or first-year students with a solid grasp of programming fundamentals, are encouraged to attend!
