About Us
Conflict Resolution Professionals of PEI (CRP-PEI) is an organization of trained and qualified practitioners dedicated to the promotion and provision of professional conflict resolution services based on Prince Edward Island.
We are guided by the ideals of a community based on respect, equality and justice. We are committed to collaborative forms of dispute resolution using the interest-based process. This process achieves two primary results:
• mutually beneficial solutions for individuals and groups, and
• strengthened interpersonal relations.
CRP-PEI Organizational Objectives
• to provide high quality professional conflict resolution services to the public;
• to promote public awareness about the effectiveness of interest-based conflict resolution services;
• to promote ethical practice based on a code of ethics and standards of practice for member practitioners;
• to facilitate continuing professional education for members; and,
• to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and research in conflict resolution theory and practice.
