Two presentations will be made:  Brittany Handke will be speaking on " "Synthesis and Characterization of Fluorescent MOFs made with Terephthalic Acid and 2-Hydroxyterephthalic acid." This will be an uUpdate on the study and optimization of synthetic methods to create fluorescent MOF structures and the comparison of fluorescence and chemical structure between frameworks made with terephthalic acid versus 2-hydroxyterephtalic acid using various characterization techniques.  Also presenting will be Maysun Benaaisha on the "Nanocomposites based on Dendrimers and layered Molybdenum Disulfide.:  All are welcome to attend.
