Tips for NSERC Research Tools and Instruments Applications

Dr. Bill Whelan (Professor and Chair, Department of Physics) will host an informal session on tips for applying for NSERC Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) funding. In addition to being a Co-Investigator on a successful RTI grant application, Dr. Whelan has served as a member of the NSERC Grant Selection Committee GSC-29 (General Physics) and numerous other grant review panels for NSERC, CIHR, and the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute. All are welcome, but please note that RTI applicants and co-applicants must each currently hold or be applying for an eligible NSERC research grant at the time of application, such as a Discovery Grant or Collaborative Research and Development Grant.
