The University of Prince Edward Island School of Business Administration has been offering exciting work term opportunities through its co-operative Education Program since 1996. Students have successfully completed work terms with many local employers, as well as employers throughout Canada and internationally, as far afield as Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Business students may apply to enter the Co-operative Education Program during any year of their academic studies.

Example of a Typical Academic/Work Term Sequence

Students enter work terms throughout the year, normally rotating every 4-8 months. Students may complete full-time and part time works.

*The four-year option included only seven academic semesters. Students must take additional courses in the first free summer or during the work terms in order to graduate in four years.

The Co-op Program is flexible in allowing for back-to-back work terms, different sequences, or completion of the program over a shorter or longer period of time
