Employer Student Program
Co-operative Education combines classroom studies with practical work experience outside the university environment. The idea is based on the principle that learning is greatly enhanced when the concepts presented in the classroom are periodically applied, tested, and observed by students in meaningful work situations.
- Co-op is a win-win opportunity for employers, students, and the institution

- Students are available for 12–16- or 32-week work terms starting in January, May, and September. A part-time student work term is also an option.
- Co-op employees can provide relief for short-term peaks in workload, or special projects and research. Employers can reduce the costs associated with recruiting through traditional media sources or thirs party vendors.
- Employing Co-op students is a cost-effective and low-risk means of recruiting and evaluating potential permanent hires.
