Because of the 2009 Canada Games, the UPEI fall semester will begin September 14, 2009. Classes will end on December 3. The slight schedule change will allow the University to fully prepare the campus for incoming students following the competitions and closing ceremonies in late August.

As usual, the residence move-in dates will be on the weekend preceding the start of classes. First-year students will be able to move in on Friday, September 11. Remaining residence students will move in beginning Saturday, September 12.
