Get a Campus Card

All UPEI students, faculty, and staff are issued a UPEI Campus Card as an identification card, and to access many other UPEI services on and off campus. A Campus Card will also be issued to off-campus users (community users) at a cost of $20.

Before you begin

The University of Prince Edward Island Campus Card is the official photo identification card at UPEI and provides the university community with a high quality, user-friendly card system that allows convenient and efficient access to all present and planned card related services.

The UPEI Campus Card is used as identification at the library and bookstore, and for prepaid services such as photocopying, laundry facilities in residence, meal plans, access to the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, and for the creation of photographic student lists for professors.

Step 1

Visit the ID Centre at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre during regular business hours, or Bill and Denise Andrew Hall (Room 121) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Step 2

Provide proof of identification. If you are an existing Campus Card holder, bring your old card with you.

Step 3

Have photo taken. (If you are an existing Campus Card holder, your photo on file can be used for the new updated UPEI Campus Card.)

The Campus Card will be issued to you within 15 minutes of your photo being taken.
