Dr. Blake Jelley is an Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business, University of Prince Edward Island. He holds a PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from Western University and is a former Chair of the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Blake is a Fellow of the Center for Evidence-Based Management and holds a Certified Human Resources Professional designation, having earned the top score in Canada on the October 2012 National Knowledge Exam set by the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations.

His practice experience includes five years in an applied research and consulting capacity with the Ontario Police College where he completed training design and human resource management projects. Dr. Jelley’s scholarly work has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including prestigious outlets such as the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. His interests include evidence-based management; management education; and the appraisal, prediction, and improvement of human performance.
