Changes to the Biology Program: to start Sept. 2011
Main Change: Introduction of Specialties within the Biology program.

1. Life Sciences Specialization
- focus on cell & molecular biology & biomedical sciences
- aimed at students pursuing careers or graduate opportunities in health professions, or research/innovation in biomedical or biotechnological sciences.
2. Environmental Biology Specialization
- focus on interaction of plants and animals with the environment
- aimed at students interested in careers or graduate studies related to conservation, wildlife biology or ecology.
3. The General Biology stream
- focus is on providing a broad background in biology, with good preparation for all areas of Biology
