Principal investigators Dr. Ahmed Siah (Department of Pathology and Microbiology) and Dr. Carmencita Yason (AVC--Regional Virology Services), and co-investigator Dr. Dave Groman (AVC--Aquatic Diagnostic Services) have received $99,960 from the Innovation PEI Discovery and Development Fund to develop a new diagnostic tool that will simultaneously detect five viruses affecting salmonids.
