The 2011 Subway Atlantic University Sport women's rugby playoffs kick-off this weekend in Charlottetown.
The AUS semifinal game will feature the second place UPEI Panthers (3-3) hosting the third place Acadia Axewomen (3-3) this Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00pm. Read more from The Guardian.
The two teams split the season series, however UPEI finished ahead of Acadia in the standings based on point differential (+2) in head-to-head play. UPEI outscored Acadia 43-41 in the two head-to-head games.
The winner of Saturday’s semifinal will advance to the 2011 Subway AUS Championship final, which will be hosted by the first place StFX X-Women (6-0) on Friday, October 28th at 6:00pm.

Saturday, October 22nd
Semifinal: Acadia at UPEI, 2:00pm
Friday, October 28th
Championship: Semifinal Winner at StFX, 6:00pm*
