The UPEI women’s rugby team will finish the season on the road vs. SFX who are  currently ranked number two in the country. The Panthers have had a tough year with a 0-5 record but have set goals for the game on Saturday in Antigonish.  “When you play X, you have to set goals that are realistic and attainable, “ commented head coach MJ Webster, “this weekend we want to finish on a high note and play discipline and hard for the full eighty minutes.”

The UPEI women's rugby panthers will face off against St. FX this Sunday at 2:00 at the New MacAdam field inside UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place. SFX is the top team in the AUS for many years now and will be a strong contender again this year.  Assistant Coach Shannon Atkins states, "obviously our goals and strategies will be different against the second ranked team in the country; however, the team really needs to be mentally focused before and during the game this week-end." We are looking for excellent leadership from our veteran players.
