The UPEI Panthers needed a win today over the Tigers to move up in the standing. UPEI was unable to jump ahead and lost the battle 73-58.
The Panthers started strong down only by one after the first quater 19-18, but the second quater was not good news for UPEI as they scored only 8 points to Dalhousie's 16. The rest of the game was very even with the Tigers only adding 3 extra in the third and 3 extra in the 4th to finish 73-58.
Dalhousie's Anna von Maltzahn was the games high scorer netting 17 points and 8 rebounds, and Keisha Brown added 16. For UPEI Amy Gough poured in 15 points and 9 rebounds.
