UPEI's shoot for the Cure event was a big success, the one thing that would have made it perfect would be a win but the Dalhousie Tigers bounced the UPEI Panthers 94-75.
The first quarter was the killer for the Panthers as the Tigers jumped out to an early lead of 27-10. At the half the Panthers trailed 50-28. The third and fourth quarter were won by the Panthers with scores of 24-23 and 23-21 but it was not enough.
The Tigers were lead by Keisha Brown netting 24 and Alex Legge adding 17. For the Panthers second year Amy Gough scored 17 and Danielle MacDonald 14.
