The UPEI Panthers opened the regular season at home on Friday night vs. SFX. The X- women won the game 86-48.
Despite the poor weather outside, a good crowd was on hand to cheer on the young Panthers lead by their new coach, Carly Clarke.
The Panthers worked hard for the full 40 minutes. Shylanda Saunders lead the Panthers with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Kelly Debow chipped in 9 points and torn down 7 rebounds with Katie Moore grabbing 10 more and adding 5 points.
