The University of Prince Edward Island is excited to be hosting the 2010 Subway AUS Swimming Championship February 5-7, 2010.
This is the first time that UPEI will play host to the event and are looking forward to the support from Island swimming fans as the date gets closer. Head Coach, William Calhoun, “This is a great opportunity for the UPEI Swim Panthers to compete against the top swimmers in the CIS, in their own pool,” “This will also be a great chance for young aspiring Island swimmers to see the top swimmers in the CIS swim here in PEI.”
Many of the AUS teams look forward to swimming at CARI as it has been proclaimed to be a very fast pool. The heats will take place each of the three days at 10am and 6pm at the CARI pool. Dalhousie, Acadia, UNB, Memorial, Mount Allison and UPEI will take part in the events. UPEI will have 19 of its athletes taking part in the three day event.
