The UPEI men's soccer team improved to 6-2-4 and moved into second place with a 2- 1 win over Acadia.
The Panthers scored two early goals with the first at the nine minute mark by Brett Hogan and 60 seconds later Jared Murphy increased the lead. Acadia pushed the Panthers and early in the second half Jonathon Hammond scored to come within a goal.
The Panthers last home game is Sunday when they host Mount Allison at 3:15 pm.
