A graduate of Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School, Matthew is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Matthew played his junior hockey in the OHL for the Owen Sound Attack and his 2007-08 season for the Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL. In 2004 Matthew was part of the National Field Lacrosse Winning team and received an award for top offensive player. Matthew's interests include golf and hockey. He aspires to play pro hockey or own his own business, and names his uncle Jeff as being his greatest athletic influence.
