The Saint Mary’s forward scored 6:46 into extra time as the Saint Mary’s Huskies nipped the UPEI Panthers 6-5 in Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey Sunday.
The Huskies (3-1) got two goals from Cody Thornton and Cam Fergus with Ryan Rorabeck getting the other.
Graham McNabb, Chad Locke, Matthew Carter, Michael MacIsaac and Jared Gomes replied for UPEI (2-2-1), outshot 46-31 in the game.
Gomes sent the game to overtime when he scored with 17 seconds remaining in regulation time.
