The UPEI Panthers are beginning to make a habit of coming back in AUS Men's Hockey. Saturday night in Moncton, the Panthers trailed 3-0 after the first period but came back to score the next five with 2 in the second and 3 in the third to win 5-3 over UdeM and improve to 8-5. Five Panthers scored the goals, Reggie Traccitto, Harrison McIver, Matt Carter, Jordan Knox, and Jared Gomes.
The AUS which has always been known as a tough league seems even closer this year, with only 5 points seperating the top 5 teams. UNB sits in first with 21 points and the Panthers are fifth with 16 points. The Panthers will finish off the first half of the season Friday night at home when they host UdeM at 7 pm.
