The UPEI Panthers made it four in a row Saturday night at MacLauchlan Arena with a 4-3 overtime win vs. the Acadia Axemen. The Panthers improve to 15-8 but remain in 5th of the AUS with the top five teams separated by only four points.
UPEI built a 3-0 lead by the end of the second period before Acadia came back with three goals in the third to tie it 3-3. Only 56 seconds into overtime a perfect pass from Alex Wall to Reggie Traccitto finished the game for the Panthers 4-3.
Mavric Parks earned the win in net for the Panthers and Evan Mosher recorded the lose for Acadia. The Axemen outshot the Panthers 37-32.
