Doug is a partner in Andrews Hockey and been with the organization for 20 years as a Junior Instructor, Senior Coach and Camp Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) and is a Certified Sport Conditioning Specialist. At RPI, he was a Senior Assistant Captain and Academic All American and enjoyed a productive 4 year career. Following University, Doug played a few years of Minor Pro hockey with the Amarillo Rattlers (CHL), Knoxville Ice Bears (ACHL) and Amberg Wild Lions in Germany. Doug has coached many elite teams and spent a year as a volunteer coach under Alain Vigneault with the PEI Rocket and also a season as an assistant coach with Mike Kelly's UPEI Panthers. He currently scouts Eastern Canada and the U.S. for the AHL's Manitoba Moose, and is a consultant for UPEI mens hockey. Doug has been instrumental in the development of many young players and is a personal skating coach for many NHL, AHL, NCAA and Major Junior A players.
