1.        What brought you to UPEI?
“I was asked to come to UPEI to play basketball, but that's only part of the reason. The positive feedback I got from others about the Island and the people, really made me comfortable and helped me in my decision to choose UPEI.”

2.        Tell us one thing that your teammates may not know about you?

“One thing my teammates do not know about me is that as a kid, I played the flute as a musical instrument.”

3.        Who has been the most influential person in your life (and why)?

“The most influential person in my life has been my grandfather. He's been there for me from the day I was born, and he always pushes me to do my best. He constantly tells me to give it my all with anything I’m doing, and never use the word ‘can't,’ because there's nothing I can't do once I put my mind to it.”

4.        Do you see yourself staying involved in the sport when your career is over?

“Yes I do see myself staying involved in the sport, whether it’s coaching, and playing pro, or even playing pick-up ball. Basketball will always be a part of my life.”

5.        What is the one key piece of advice you would pass on to young athletes?

“My advice to young athletes is that you can only excel as an athlete if you first excel as a student. Work hard, keep a winning mentality, and never settle for less than your best.”

6.        What is your favorite quote?

“My favorite quote is ‘impossible is nothing, losing is not an option.’
